So, here we are, the nine things I love more than anything else:
1. Quoting Movies/Books and other people actually UNDERSTANDING them
2. Thunderstorms (Especially when I lose power!)
3. A mug of tea while outside reading
4. The smell of science textbooks
5. Taking a walk by myself while listening to music
6. Sitting at home and watching movies all day with my sister
7. Acting and singing in plays
8. Music--any kind
9. My family and friends
I couldn't bear life without these!
I just watched Harry Potter 7 pt. 2 for about the ninth time. My favorite lines in it are: "That went well," "You were named after two headmasters of Hogwarts; one was a Slytherin, and he was the bravest man I ever knew," "Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry, but why should that mean that it isn't real?" and "Not my daughter, you bitch."
However, I hate how they take out the scene where Neville runs up and kills Nagini, and no one is expecting it so he succeeds. I also hate how they didn't include the scene where Voldemort and Harry circle each other and speak right before the final battle.
But, then, that's just me, I'm a Harry Potter geek so I think the movie has to be PERFECT.
I also spent about an hour trying to shape my Edward Scissorhands wig. It's been so hard, you can't control the hair without using glue, and now he looks like he has a bad case of dandruff.
I am so glad Halloween is tomorrow and I hope it comes quickly!
See you all later!

Frankenstorm is coming...
Alas, Halloween spookiness is in the air...
And to add to that, Hurricane Sandy is coming in fast, which means the dawn of the infamous (and quite nonexistent) Frankenstorm.
Two days of school have been cancelled, which I find very amusing since there is nothing but a little rain and wind (so far.) I have been using the time to perfect my costume, Edward Scissorhands.
I tried out the makeup for the first time. It took me an hour and was probably one of the most frustrating things I have ever done, but I must say it turned out quite well. For the rest of the day I ran around scaring my friends and family. I can't wait for Halloween!
Also, I have been reading a cute little blog called http://isntitjustdarling.blogspot.com/
It has some really beautiful posts, but what I really liked was what the author called the "Personal Challenge Countdown." It was basically a list of things the author must answer about themself: 10 secrets, 9 loves, 8 fears, 7 wants, 6 places, 5 foods, 4 books, 3 films, 2 songs, and 1 picture (of yourself). Unfortunately, I don't have any flattering pictures of myself (I'm not the photogenic type), so I'm not sure what I'll do about that one, but I thought this would give whatever readers I may have a chance to get to know me a little bit better.
So, basically, each day, I will answer one requirement of the challenge, starting with 10 secrets.
Here we go...
1. I am a very antisocial and awkward person. I love spending time alone and am not very good at initiating conversation.
2. I am on page 351 of the novel I am writing. It is about a girl name Ana and her struggles with friends, family, love, and life.
3. I am hungry ALL of the time. I could eat for hours and still want more.
4. I play the piano but I never practice.
5. I am terrible at any form of team sport.
6. I hate making big decisions.
7. I am a crybaby.
8. I sing extremely loud when I'm alone.
9. I am very self-conscious sometimes.
10. I fall in love so easily it scares me.
So there we are, 10 secrets. I realize they aren't very good but I'm not the most interesting of people.
Anyway, I hope everyone bundles up and keeps safe for Frankenstorm!
Happy Halloween!

Hooray For Hillywood!
It's time for me to share my next obsession, which we all know is a celebratory time! Almost as good as when I finally learn to perfect sarcasm.
Anyway, it's a YouTube show called "The Hillywood Show." The YouTube channel is called JckSparrow and the videos are hilarious! If you've haven't yet seen them, here are two of my favorite episodes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqVHi5vWO6U
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqjEmKASFBs
And if you don't have time to watch a full episode, here's a preview:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4RNkYKaXPU
Pretty much what the show does is combine many different characters and tell their story and how they get into funny situations. The plotline it follows is of Jack Sparrow, and how he is transported using a DeLorian to a variety of different places, where other characters arise (Ed Wood, Mort Rainey, Anakin, Sweeney Todd, Mr. Beetle and many others.) Other characters also have cameo roles, like Edward Scissorhands, Willy Wonka, Napolean Dynamite, Sam, etc. If you haven't noticed already, most of these characters are portrayed by Johnny Depp, an actor who I love and have seen many of his movies, so it is fun to see The Hillywood Show make parodies of each of these movies. If you are a Johnny Depp fanatic, you will love it!
The show is brilliantly made. Obviously, the creators (two sisters) put a lot of work into making it perfect. The costumes and sets are almost identical to the original ones.
Unfortunately, the Hillywood Show is not as funny now. The episodes that follow Jack ended at fifteen, because the creators no longer had a DeLorian. Now, to keep their viewers, they have started following what's popular, like Twilight, and focusing more on the number of views than the actual content, at least in my opinion. The videos are still great and very impressive, but they just aren't what they used to be, and that makes me sad.
But all sadness aside, the show is great and you should definitely check it out.
I would write more, but autumn is calling and I am going to go apple picking for the second time this month.
Enjoy the weekend and remember: Hooray For Hillywood!
