Songs.

How can a simple array of notes, when assembled together, change lives? Songs are dangerously powerful, for they have the ability to make us laugh or cry (or both) in only a few minutes.
Here is a list of my favorite songs at the moment:
"The A Team" by Ed Sheeran
"1901" by Phoenix
"Junk of the Heart" by The Kooks
"Till The Casket Drops" by ZZ Ward
"I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace
"Lightspeed" by Twin Atlantic
"The Rat" by The Walkmen
"Waste" by Foster The People
"Pair Of Jacks" by the lost colors
"Fallen" by Death In The Park
"The Church Channel" by Say Anything
That's just at the moment. I'm a busy girl.
Just kidding. I'm never busy. LLS.
My second production of A Midsummer Night's Dream opens tomorrow afternoon. My costume consists of tights and a really heavy flowered coat, which isn't very Puckish if you ask me, but blame my director.
But moving on, it gets very hot onstage, so every time I have a break from performing, I take off my coat and use it as a pillow to sleep, fanning myself with anything I see. Unfortunately, my fellow castmates enjoy tickling me and poking me with things they find on the ground. I don't think they like me.
Anyway, I'm glad this session of camp is almost over. I'm really tired of this play and would like to move on. I've decided to do Fiddler on the Roof next session, but in the meantime, I was unwillingly signed up for Broadway Dance Camp. I hate dancing with a passion, so I'm not looking forward to it, but I'll live.
That's what I keep reminding myself this summer. I'll live.
At least, I hope so.
